Enforcement Program
One of the County’s priorities is to provide a safe, viable and pleasant
environment for all County residents to work, play, raise children, and
retire. In early 2006, Council adopted legislation to establish a Bylaw
Enforcement Officer position.
This
position is provided to be a liaison for the residents to report any
concerns. Likewise, my role will be to promote cooperation and offer
education to ensure that County bylaws being adhered to.
LAKE LOT OWNERS - DID YOU KNOW?
Building permits are required for ANY disturbance of land or building.
Maximum
of TWO recreational camping units are allowed on each lot.
Only
one single family dwelling is allowed on each lot.
Outhouses require a holding tank.
Parking
is NOT allowed in the ditch / boulevard.
ATV USERS - DID YOU KNOW?
ATVs must be licensed and insured.
Minimum
age to operate an ATV is 14 years.
ATVs
are not allowed on municipal reserve land.
Permitted use areas include:
· The
lakes (excluding Bellis Lake)
· Iron
Horse Trail
· Private land (with permission)
· Unoccupied Crown Land
