North Saskatchewan Heritage River Initiative

The Designation was accepted by the Canadian Heritage Rivers Board (CHRB) in October 2023 and was then endorsed by the Alberta Minister of Environment and Protected Areas Rebecca Schulz in December 2023, and then the Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change in February 2024.
