Ready to ignite a passion for firefighting? Join us for an action-packed 5-day firefighting camp designed for young adults, ages 12 to 18! Discover the thrill of the fire service as you learn essential skills, experience real-life scenarios, and get a taste of the adrenaline rush that comes with being an everyday hero! From mastering hose techniques to understanding fire behavior, this camp is your chance to step into the boots of a firefighter and see what it's truly like behind the flames.
Participant spaces are limited and are filled on a first come-first served basis, get your application in as soon as possible!

Cory and Ashley met in 2003 while he was teaching Vehicle Extrication to Smoky Lake County Firefighters and she was a volunteer with Vilna Fire Department. A long time volunteer, Cory was the Deputy Chief of Training for the County of Vermilion River, and also worked at Lakeland College/Fire etc in Technical Services and as a Fire Service Instructor. Cory has been with Edmonton Fire for 18 years and is currently a Captain in downtown Edmonton. He is also a primary care paramedic and continues to train and consult for many volunteer and composite fire departments in Alberta. Ashley is a first aid instructor and teaches Emergency Response Career Pathways at Centre High Campus with Edmonton Public Schools. (Instagram @ercp_chc)
